1. Who may use VelvetVote
- You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to use an adult-oriented service where you are located.
- You must provide accurate account and profile information and must not impersonate another person.
- Email verification confirms control of an inbox only. It is not identity, age, ownership, or performer-consent verification.
- You are responsible for activity through your account and should contact us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access.
2. What the current service does
VelvetVote measures content preferences, expected prices, and non-binding support intent. Survey figures are research signals only. No payment, deposit, token, pledge, escrow, purchase, payout, or production obligation is created.
The current release does not host adult videos. Sample profiles and sample figures are fictional or clearly labelled demo data.
Future funding and referral policy preview
The future funding and referral policy explains the planned fee split and qualifying direct referrals. It is a preview, does not create a current funding contract or payment obligation, and will be replaced by final program terms before launch.
The funding goal calculator provides planning estimates only. Survey amounts remain non-binding research signals.
3. Creator invitations and publication
- Creator onboarding is invitation-only. An invitation may be sent only after the recipient has asked for it or agreed to receive it.
- A completed profile is an application, not an entitlement to publication or verification status.
- VelvetVote may request further identity, age, consent, rights, or safety information before approving, retaining, or publishing a creator profile.
- Approval may be refused, suspended, or withdrawn when information is incomplete, misleading, unsafe, unlawful, or inconsistent with our policies.
4. Your submissions and intellectual property
You keep ownership of content you submit. You grant VelvetVote a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, resize, display, and transmit that content only as needed to operate, secure, moderate, and promote the relevant VelvetVote profile or survey. The licence ends when the content is deleted, except for reasonable backups, legal records, and material already shared with your permission.
You may submit only material you own or are authorized to use. You must have valid, documented adult participation and publication consent for every identifiable person.
5. Prohibited use
You must follow the Safety & acceptable use policy. In particular, VelvetVote does not permit minors or minor-coded sexual content, non-consensual intimate imagery, exploitation, coercion, trafficking, infringement, fraud, harassment, doxxing, security abuse, or attempts to evade moderation.
6. Moderation, suspension, and appeals
We may restrict or remove material, disable links, preserve evidence, limit delivery, suspend an account, or report activity when reasonably necessary for safety, security, legal compliance, or enforcement of these terms. Where appropriate, we will explain the decision and provide the complaint or appeal route described in our Complaints policy.
7. Availability and research accuracy
The prototype may change, pause, or contain errors. Survey results may be incomplete, self-reported, device-limited, or affected by misuse. VelvetVote does not guarantee audience demand, sales, funding, creator income, production, or uninterrupted access.
8. Liability and mandatory rights
Nothing in these terms excludes rights, guarantees, remedies, or liabilities that cannot lawfully be excluded, including applicable Australian Consumer Law protections. To the extent permitted by law, VelvetVote is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from reliance on prototype research results.
9. Law and changes
To the extent permitted by mandatory law, these terms are governed by the laws of South Australia, Australia. We may update them as the service changes. A material change will be dated here and, where appropriate, shown before continued account use.
